A skilled MRI Technologist is required to deliver high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract position calls for a detail-oriented individual experienced in MRI procedures, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
  • Valid Radiologic Technologist license
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience operating MRI equipment
  • Comprehensive understanding of imaging safety protocols and patient care standards
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans as prescribed by medical staff, following established protocols to obtain precise diagnostic images
  • Assess patient needs, provide instructions and support, and monitor patient well-being before, during, and after scanning
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed
  • Monitor image quality, maintain documentation, and promptly report results to medical staff
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements
