A contract opportunity is available for skilled MRI Technologists to support a well-established imaging department. Two positions are currently open, with a 13-week assignment beginning on 10/28/24. This role is set within a modern clinical setting and provides a consistent weekday schedule.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • No call requirements
  • No holidays

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist licensure
  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures following established safety protocols and departmental policies
  • Prepare patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout the process
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment; troubleshoot minor issues as needed
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging findings within electronic medical records
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver optimal patient care
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards
