A contract opportunity is available for skilled MRI Technologists to support a well-established imaging department. Two positions are currently open, with a 13-week assignment beginning on 10/28/24. This role is set within a modern clinical setting and provides a consistent weekday schedule.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- No call requirements
- No holidays
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist licensure
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures following established safety protocols and departmental policies
- Prepare patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout the process
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment; troubleshoot minor issues as needed
- Accurately document patient information and imaging findings within electronic medical records
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver optimal patient care
- Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards
