MRI Technologist in Falls Church, VA

Take your expertise in MRI imaging to the next level with this contract opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist. This position offers an immediate start and the chance to work with advanced equipment in a professional healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Overnight shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:30 am
• 5x8-hour schedule

Key Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Candidates can be submitted pending Virginia state license (must provide proof of application and follow temporary licensing process)
• Experience with Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T preferred
• Comfortable using EPIC Radiology MT Online on unit
• Must adhere to facility policy regarding flu vaccine requirements during flu season
• Ability to wear grey scrubs as per facility standard

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment efficiently and safely
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to minimize anxiety
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of records within the EPIC system
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and workflow
• Uphold all safety and infection control procedures
