Soliant is seeking an experienced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for a travel assignment in Farmington, Connecticut. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy imaging department equipped with a wide range of advanced MRI technology in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
The department features 10 MRI magnets, including a primarily GE-based system with 7 GE units, 2 Hitachi units, and 1 Siemens unit. Candidates with experience across multiple MRI platforms are encouraged to apply and expand their expertise in a high-volume imaging setting.
Enjoy a consistent 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM schedule with 40 guaranteed hours per week, providing dependable scheduling and steady weekly hours. Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout exams
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide quality patient care
- Follow MRI safety standards and department procedures
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail

- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
Qualifications/Education:
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification accepted
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred
No state radiology license required
Licensing assistance available if needed
Experience:
- MRI Technologist experience required
- Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred
- Experience with Hitachi and Siemens MRI equipment preferred
Work Hours:
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 40 guaranteed hours per week
