MRI Technologist in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Seeking a skilled professional to provide exceptional MRI imaging services on a 13-week contract assignment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MRI Tech who thrives in a dynamic, patient-focused environment and is passionate about delivering accurate diagnostic imaging.

Schedule:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts: Days, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Valid certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT(CT) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Strong experience operating Hitachi 128 MRI equipment
• Comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven track record of maintaining professionalism and efficiency in fast-paced settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures, ensuring appropriate positioning, patient comfort, and image quality
• Prepare and operate Hitachi 128 MRI equipment to achieve optimal imaging results
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare staff to review and discuss imaging results and requirements
• Follow all safety procedures for patients and staff, monitoring for contraindications and adverse reactions
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation within electronic medical records systems
• Contribute to a supportive, respectful atmosphere for patients of all backgrounds
