Qualifications and Experience:
- Active ARRT (MR) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
- Licensed or eligible for state licensure as required
- Strong proficiency operating MRI equipment and associated modalities
- Proven track record of maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospital or imaging center setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
- Accurately position patients and ensure optimal image quality
- Monitor patients for safety, providing reassurance and clear instructions throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely records of procedures and imaging documentation
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Practice strict adherence to privacy guidelines, infection control, and all relevant healthcare standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, healthcare providers, and support staff for seamless patient care delivery
