MRI Technologist - Gastonia, NC

An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to contribute expertise in a dynamic imaging department. This contract position offers a unique setting equipped with Siemens 1.5T magnets and EPIC EMR support, serving a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics in a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environment.

Location: Gastonia, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour Night Shifts
• Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism across a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Collaborate effectively with a clinical team to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging for emergency, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient patients.
• Maintain technical proficiency while adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Participate in a fair rotation call system and assist with holiday coverage as needed.
• Complete a flexible orientation process including facility and departmental tours and introductions.

Qualifications:

• ARRT or NMTCB certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI (ARRT MR or ARMRIT preferred).
• Valid BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of clinical MRI experience; new graduates with strong skills are welcome.
• Exceptional communication skills and teamwork ethos.
• Adaptability to work in a high patient acuity, fast-paced setting.
