MRI Technologist in Gastonia, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 am–7:30 pm (36 hours/week)
• Onboarding: First two weeks, Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
• Proficient in MRI technical skills, including imaging techniques, protocols, and safety standards
• Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or clinical environment
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced department and deliver compassionate care
• Willingness to occasionally assist with X-rays if skilled (not required)
• Strong communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality MRI scans according to physician orders and departmental standards
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Accurately document procedures and maintain records within the electronic health system
• Collaborate with radiologists and other technologists to achieve optimal imaging outcomes
• May assist with patient lifting within the department when available
• Potential to work one holiday, with the same shift hours

$2,001 - $2,189/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
