Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures with exceptional skill, adhering to protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal image quality.
- Accurately position patients for the examination, providing compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
- Operate MRI equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and monitor scan results for clarity and diagnostic usefulness.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain equipment, rooms, and workspaces in strict compliance with infection control and safety standards.
- Participate in a fair on-call rotation with all team members, sharing after-hours responsibilities equitably.
- Assist with holiday coverage unless prior approval for time off has been arranged.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR or equivalent) and up-to-date state licensure.
- At least one year of recent MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
