MRI Technologist in Gastonia, NC

Schedule and Shift Details:

• 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• No rotating between weekdays and weekends; contract shifts remain consistent

Qualifications:

• Valid and current MRI technologist certification
• Recent experience in performing MRI procedures in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with medical teams
• Compliance with all applicable licensure and health requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment and conduct high-quality imaging procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results
• Participate in a fair, rotating on-call schedule as part of the larger imaging team
• Assist in covering holiday shifts as needed, following advance approval protocols
• No floating required; you will maintain focus within the MRI department
