MRI Technologist in Gastonia, NC

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Key Qualifications:

• Current experience operating MRI imaging equipment
• Registered MRI Tech credentials (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Proficient in patient positioning and scan optimization
• Great communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff
• Ability to adapt to varying call needs, with flexibility for coverage
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements for MRI imaging

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, verifying safety and comfort at all times
• Accurately document procedure details and patient information in the electronic medical record
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report technical issues as needed
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule among staff to ensure uninterrupted coverage
• Support departmental needs during holidays unless advance approval is obtained for time off
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide outstanding service
• Adhere strictly to infection control, safety standards, and facility procedures
