MRI Technologist in Gastonia, NC

Schedule/Hours

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• 40 hours per week

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program
• Current ARRT(MR) or equivalent MRI certification required
• Previous experience working as an MRI Technician in a hospital or healthcare facility
• Excellent communication, patient care, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Core Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI imaging as ordered by medical providers, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
• Accurately follow imaging protocols and demonstrate proficiency with MRI scanners and related technology
• Document and communicate procedure results and patient information with clinical staff
• Participate in call coverage on a rotational basis with other full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler technologists
• Support holiday coverage when scheduled, unless leave is approved in advance​
• No floating required; maintain consistency with day shifts throughout the contract

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
