MRI Technologist - Gastonia, NC

Advance your imaging career by providing essential MRI services in a dynamic hospital environment. We’re seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity, supporting comprehensive patient care during overnight hours.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1+ year prior MRI Tech experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with MRI imaging equipment and safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond to on-call/call back responsibilities as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures in accordance with department protocols and physician instructions
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care
• Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed records in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in an equitable on-call/call-back rotation with the rest of the department (frequency determined by team size)
• Provide coverage during holidays, with scheduled time off subject to prior approval

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
