Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR required)
• Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficient in positioning patients for MRI scans and explaining procedures
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols
• Ability to collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate MRI scanners, adjusting technical factors to obtain high-quality images
• Screen patients for contraindications and educate them about procedures
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and images according to facility protocols
• Monitor equipment function, report malfunctions, and assist with troubleshooting
