MRI Technologist - Grand Haven, MI

Deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services as an MRI Technologist, providing essential support to the clinical team. Schedule:

• 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
• Includes every other weekend rotation

Qualifications:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
• Valid, current state license (if required)
• Demonstrated competency in MRI imaging techniques and safety protocols
• Proven experience using imaging equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient interaction skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Previous contract or hospital experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced MRI scans according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Position patients correctly while ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists to review images and ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Strictly adhere to safety and infection control policies
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in electronic record systems
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients regarding exam procedures
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance and professional development activities
