An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to support imaging services in an adult acute care setting. This travel position is based in Greensboro, NC, offering exposure to a diverse patient population and advanced imaging protocols. Candidates with a minimum of one year of MRI experience and relevant credentials are encouraged to consider this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, brain, spine, and extremity imaging utilizing various sequences such as Gradient Echo, Spin Echo, and MIP.
  • Administer contrast media and manage isolation precautions proficiently.
  • Start peripheral IVs as needed for imaging studies.
  • Operate PACS and Siemens imaging equipment; utilize EPIC electronic health record system.
  • Handle imaging for adult ICU, emergency trauma, and outpatient departments; pediatric acute care experience is a plus.
  • Fulfill charge technologist duties ensuring adherence to scheduling and quality protocols.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year MRI technologist experience in adult acute care.
  • Proficient with Siemens MRI systems and PACS.
  • Experience with advanced MRI sequences and multiple anatomical protocols.
  • Ability to work flexible 4x8-hour shifts scheduled Saturday through Monday, including weekends.
  • Strong punctuality and compliance with attendance policies.
