MRI Tech in Greensboro, NC

Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services at a leading medical facility. This direct hire opportunity offers a consistent schedule and emphasizes independence, expertise, and collaborative patient care in a supportive environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours total)
• Facility open 7 days/week; must be available for any day of coverage (no nights)
• No on-call obligations
• Potential to float across three local imaging sites as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• ARRT MR certification required
• At least 1+ year of MRI experience preferred for permanent hire; 5+ years required for contractors
• Ability to start own IVs and work independently is essential
• Experience assisting with breast biopsies and involvement in research studies is strongly preferred
• MRSO certification desirable
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans with an emphasis on patient comfort and imaging safety
• Independently manage equipment setup, including starting IVs for contrast administration
• Support breast imaging procedures, including assisting with biopsies
• Potential participation in research studies and advanced imaging protocols
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate electronic records and adhere to protocols using EPIC
• Flexibility to rotate among three area imaging locations when required
