MRI Technologist in Groton, CT

Key Details:

• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, evenings (14:15 – 23:15)
• Rotating weekends and holidays, 40 hours per week
• Must be willing to float between facilities as needed
• Only candidates living more than 75 miles away are eligible

Qualifications:

• Valid MRI Technologist Certification required (no state licensure necessary)
• Experience operating MRI imaging equipment in a hospital or trauma center environment strongly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC charting systems
• Ability to adapt quickly, demonstrating attention to detail and patient-centered care
• Strong interpersonal skills and capacity for teamwork in high-acuity settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
• Accurately position patients and operate MRI equipment
• Ensure a safe environment by following established safety protocols for patients, staff, and self
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams and patients
• Maintain accurate electronic records utilizing EPIC charting
• Flex between facility sites as determined by operational need
