Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in MRI imaging
  • Proficiency in operating MRI scanners and related equipment
  • Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and patient safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Valid BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate MRI equipment, monitor images for quality, and make real-time adjustments as needed
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of procedures and patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to deliver accurate results
  • Apply infection control practices and follow safety standards
  • Explain procedures and address patient questions to ease concerns and promote a positive experience
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging suite and equipment
