Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified MRI Technologist with current credentials (ARRT or equivalent)
• Prior experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting
• Thorough knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care standards
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff
• Capability to assess images for diagnostic quality and follow precise imaging protocols
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring diagnostic-quality imaging
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, documenting all procedures accurately
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical professionals to achieve optimal imaging results
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory policies
• Monitor patients during scans and address any concerns or complications promptly
• Manage workflow efficiently to maintain schedules and reduce patient wait times
