Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified MRI Technologist with current credentials (ARRT or equivalent)
- Prior experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting
- Thorough knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care standards
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff
- Capability to assess images for diagnostic quality and follow precise imaging protocols
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring diagnostic-quality imaging
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, documenting all procedures accurately
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical professionals to achieve optimal imaging results
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory policies
- Monitor patients during scans and address any concerns or complications promptly
- Manage workflow efficiently to maintain schedules and reduce patient wait times
