Qualifications and Skills:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Demonstrated expertise in MRI procedures and safety protocols
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and MRI physics
• Proficient with radiology information systems and PACS
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Position and prepare patients for MRI scans, explaining procedures and addressing any patient concerns
• Follow all facility and safety guidelines, including screening patients for contraindications
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate exam protocols
• Document and verify all patient and exam information accurately
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Monitor equipment performance and report concerns promptly
• Assist with workflow efficiency and maintain cleanliness in the imaging area
