MRI Technologist - Hartford, Connecticut

Schedule/Hours:

• 36-40 hours weekly
• Primary need: Monday through Friday, likely a 2 PM – 10 PM shift
• Occasional coverage on first shift (morning/daytime) may be requested
• Some floating to nearby locations as needed (all within the Hartford area)

Qualifications:

• Certification through ARRT or ARMRIT (both accepted)
• Experience operating MRI equipment and performing high-quality imaging studies
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly regarding patient safety and image quality
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care and working with multi-disciplinary teams
• No state license required for this position
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes and float between nearby site locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe, efficient operation of MRI equipment according to protocol
• Accurately conduct MRI studies, positioning patients appropriately and maintaining comfort
• Evaluate images for clarity, collaborating with physicians and radiologists as needed
• Maintain patient records with thorough documentation and confidentiality
• Adhere to facility safety and infection control policies
• Offer professional support and compassion to patients throughout the imaging process
