MRI Technologist in Hartford, CT

Schedule:

• 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
• 35 hours per week guaranteed

Qualifications:

• Certification through ARRT or ARMRIT required (both accepted)
• Demonstrated professional experience working with Hitachi MRI systems is essential
• No state license required for this position
• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging department preferred
• Solid understanding of MRI protocols and safety procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction
• Detail-oriented with strong technical troubleshooting abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders
• Properly position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and accuracy
• Maintain safe MRI practices and provide appropriate patient screening
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal patient care
• Document and maintain patient records and image data accurately
• Assist with equipment calibration and perform minor troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

$2,709 - $2,856/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
