MRI Technologist - Hayward, California

Step into a vital imaging role supporting diagnostic services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position demands expertise in MRI procedures and a commitment to compassionate patient care. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, making a direct impact on patient diagnoses and treatment plans during a 13-week assignment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Shifts may be scheduled any day, Monday through Sunday (mostly weekend coverage)
• Rotating schedule; shifts fall between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm
• No overnight, on-call, or holiday shifts required

Qualifications:

• Current certification in MRI technology (ARRT(MR)) required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment and performing imaging procedures
• Strong understanding of imaging safety protocols and patient positioning
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate MRI equipment with precision, adhering to established protocols
• Accurately capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures and observations
• Communicate clearly with physicians and the imaging team regarding findings and workflow
