MRI Technologist in Hialeah, FL

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in Medical Imaging, specifically MRI technology. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment working with advanced imaging equipment in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule & Hours:

• 5x8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:30pm

Qualifications:

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ARRT(CT) certification is mandatory
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Demonstrated professional experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proficient in operating Hitachi 128 imaging equipment
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient care

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans utilizing advanced technology and ensure accurate image acquisition
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining imaging processes and ensuring comfort and safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to interpret imaging requests and deliver optimal patient care
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure peak operation and safety standards
• Implement proper protocols for quality control, patient privacy, and regulatory compliance
• Complete and document all scans accurately and efficiently within medical record systems
• Support a collaborative clinical environment focused on exceptional imaging services
