Step into a key role supporting diagnostic imaging services as an experienced MRI Technologist. This contract position offers the chance to work hands-on with advanced MRI systems and contribute to optimal patient care. The assignment is set for 13 weeks and is ideal for someone with proficiency in MRI and familiarity with Hitachi 128 equipment.
Schedule/Hours:
- 5 shifts—8 hours each
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Qualifications:
- Certification in MRI Technology
- Active and current BLS and ACLS certifications
- ARRT(CT) credential required
- Demonstrated experience operating Hitachi 128 MRI systems
- Deep understanding of MRI procedures, protocols, and safety precautions
- Proven track record of accurate patient positioning and superior imaging skills
- Strong communication abilities and commitment to patient comfort
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans adhering to strict quality and safety standards
- Operate the Hitachi 128 machine efficiently and troubleshoot minor issues as needed
- Accurately position patients and explain procedures for best results and patient reassurance
- Work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams for proper imaging and timely results
- Maintain patient documentation and imaging records in compliance with regulations
- Ensure the clean, safe, and organized state of imaging suites at all times
