MRI Technologist - Hialeah, Florida

Step into a vital role providing diagnostic imaging excellence, where your MRI expertise supports patient care across multiple locations. This position involves a 13-week assignment, offering the opportunity to work with a variety of MRI platforms, including Siemens, Philips, and Hitachi Oasis equipment. Flexibility is essential, as you may be scheduled for 5 eight-hour shifts per week on rotating days or evenings, with your schedule provided in advance. Please note, travel to facilities across the Stuart and Treasure Coast areas is required.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(MR) certification required; ARMRIT accepted if you have injection experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting imaging studies on MRI equipment (Siemens, Philips, Hitachi Oasis)
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist highly preferred
• Willingness and ability to float to different imaging locations as needed
• Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and a commitment to patient care

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols, ensuring safety and quality standards
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens, Philips, and Hitachi Oasis MRI scanners
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and monitor their well-being throughout the imaging process
• Maintain accurate imaging records and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies at all assigned locations
• Provide injection services (if ARMRIT certified)
