MRI Technologist in Hialeah, FL

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to support imaging services at a busy diagnostic imaging center. This assignment offers a structured day shift schedule with rotating Saturday coverage, focusing on delivering top-tier MRI imaging to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hrs:

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Rotating Saturdays (exact days to be determined by the site leader)

Role Qualifications:

• Current State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license (required in profile)
• ARRT certification (required; ARMRIT not accepted)
• College diploma or transcripts confirming completion of MRI program (required in profile)
• Previous MRI Tech experience strongly preferred
• Individuals may not be a permanent resident of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
• Demonstrated technical proficiency with MRI equipment and protocols
• Excellent patient care and interpersonal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures with consistent attention to quality and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and easing any concerns
• Operate MRI equipment per established protocols, ensuring accurate images for diagnostic purposes
• Assist with daily workflow, equipment checks, and routine documentation
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver effective imaging services
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the MRI suite, following all regulatory and compliance standards
