The primary work location is in Greensboro, with occasional floating to nearby facilities as needed.
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours)
- Flexible scheduling—facility open 7 days a week; must be available any day for coverage
- No nights and no on-call responsibilities
- Start date to be determined following selection
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- For contractors: 5+ years of MRI experience; for permanent hires: 1+ year preferred
- Ability to start IVs independently a must
- Experience assisting with breast biopsies and supporting research studies preferred
- MRSO (MR Safety Officer) certification strongly preferred
- Comfortable floating to additional imaging sites nearby as needed
- Prior experience using EPIC for charting and case management
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI scans safely and efficiently, ensuring patient comfort and quality imaging standards
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adhering to safety protocols and accreditation requirements
- Independently manage schedule and workflow, triaging priorities as patient volume fluctuates
- Assist with breast biopsies and facilitate research protocols when required
- Accurately document results and activities in the EMR (EPIC)
- Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary care teams
