Step into a vital role supporting advanced medical imaging in a well-equipped environment with Siemens 1.5T and 3T machines. This dynamic position focuses on MRI examinations, providing care and expertise that directly benefits patients and supports ongoing research. A 13-week minimum contract is available, with a consistent and predictable schedule for work-life balance.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
  • Assigned shifts may fall on any day, Monday through Sunday
  • No nights and no on-call duty

Key Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT (MR) certification required
  • Minimum of 5 years of MRI tech experience essential for contract
  • Demonstrated ability to independently start IVs
  • Proficient in Epic software for documentation and workflow
  • Comfort working independently—one technician per machine
  • Flexibility to float between designated locations in Greensboro and Burlington as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • MRSO certification highly valued
  • Background assisting with breast biopsies and research studies

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality MRI scans using Siemens 1.5T and 3T equipment
  • Adjust scanning protocols per clinical and research needs
  • Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients throughout imaging studies
  • Accurately chart procedures and findings in Epic
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and research coordinators as necessary
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards

$2,250 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
