An experienced MRI Technologist is needed for a 13-week position specializing in Imaging – MRI. This crucial role supports diagnostic teams through quality MRI imaging and coordinated patient care.
Schedule:
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Day shifts: 11:00am–11:30pm
Qualifications:
- Active ARRT(MR) certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Previous experience operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic imaging
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in an imaging environment
- Excellent communication, patient interaction, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI exams as ordered by medical staff
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout
- Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols regarding patient screening and contrast administration
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare team members
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients before, during, and after scans
