An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to support patient care in a dynamic imaging environment. This contract position offers the chance to work alongside a multidisciplinary team and utilize advanced imaging technology to deliver precise diagnostic results.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Florida R.T. (R) (MR) license is required
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of MRI protocols, safety procedures, and patient positioning
• Proficient in identifying imaging artifacts and implementing quality assurance processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork
• Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders, established protocols, and best practices
• Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal image quality and safety
• Operate MRI machines, monitoring image quality and troubleshooting as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient histories
• Screen patients for contraindications and ensure adherence to safety standards
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and support personnel to coordinate care
• Uphold strict confidentiality and safeguard patient privacy
