Job Type Contract

A skilled MRI Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract assignment. This opportunity requires expertise in advanced imaging, specifically MRI procedures, and hands-on experience with Hitachi 128 equipment. Deliver excellent patient care and support diagnostic services in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

  • 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ARRT(CT) credential required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Hitachi 128 MRI equipment
  • Experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or imaging center setting
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and patient positioning
  • Ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Operate advanced MRI equipment (Hitachi 128) to provide high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
  • Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety throughout
  • Review imaging protocols and verify accurate patient information
  • Monitor patients during scans, quickly addressing any concerns or reactions
  • Collaborate with radiologists and fellow technologists to optimize imaging results
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed according to established protocols
  • Document all procedures, complete records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
