Schedule:
- 3x12 hour day shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification (candidates with ARMIRT will not be considered)
- Demonstrated proficiency in MRI imaging practices and safety standards
- Experience operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare team members
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans following physician orders and protocol guidelines
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
- Review and assess images for quality, making necessary adjustments to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
- Uphold stringent safety procedures for patients and staff during all imaging procedures
