MRI Technologist | Huntersville, North Carolina

An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced MRI Technologist skilled in advanced imaging procedures. This contract role involves performing high-quality MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating efficiently with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Scheduled Hours:

• Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend call, 1 weekend per month (Friday night – Monday morning, with a 1-hour response time)
• Holiday requirements include every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment, conducting diagnostic scans with precision and accuracy
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Adhere to established protocols and quality standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to achieve optimal imaging results
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Respond promptly to on-call and callback requirements as scheduled
• Follow infection control, safety, and organizational policies at all times

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Proven experience in MRI imaging in a clinical or hospital environment
• Strong technical knowledge of MRI procedures, equipment operation, and patient positioning
• Ability to function independently during overnight shifts and on-call periods
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
