MRI Technologist - Huntersville, NC

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• 8-hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week

Position Details:

• Contract opportunity with a focus on daytime coverage
• No weekend rotation; day-shift consistency maintained for travelers
• Call responsibilities vary and are distributed fairly among all team members, including travelers
• Holiday coverage assistance expected unless advance approval for time off is obtained
• No floating requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Proficient with advanced imaging procedures and safety protocols
• Credentialed in MRI imaging (ARRT MRI or equivalent certification preferred)
• Strong patient-focused communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and uphold confidentiality standards
• Familiarity with electronic health records and digital imaging systems
• Adaptability to procedural changes and workflow updates

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality MRI procedures, ensuring adherence to physician orders and imaging protocols
• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams with an emphasis on comfort and safety
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and oversee image quality assurance
• Document clinical information accurately and maintain up-to-date technical logs
• Respond promptly to on-call duties as required within the established rotation
• Cooperate in providing coverage for holiday shifts as part of the team commitment

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
