MRI Technologist in Huntersville, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday (20:30 – 07:00)
• Rotating on-call coverage: one weekend per month, Friday night through Monday morning (1-hour response time required)
• Weekend shifts based on departmental needs
• Holiday shifts every other week (EOW)
• No floating to other departments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Current certification and experience as an MRI Technologist
• Strong technical proficiency in operating MRI equipment and performing imaging procedures
• Understanding of imaging safety protocols and patient care standards
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under time-sensitive situations, especially during call-back scenarios
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and high standards of medical professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring safety and comfort
• Follow established protocols for imaging, patient screening, and safety standards
• Respond promptly to on-call and call-back requirements, maintaining a one-hour response time
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation as required
• Coordinate seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding imaging results
