MRI Technologist in Huntersville, NC

This contract opportunity offers dedicated night shifts — Friday through Sunday, 6:00pm to 6:30am — ensuring consistent scheduling throughout your assignment. Schedule:

• Friday–Sunday, 6:00pm–6:30am (12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week)
• No rotation between weekends and weekdays per contract
• Call requirements are rotated fairly among teammates; frequency depends on staff size
• Holidays may be required unless pre-approved off
• No floating required

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Valid ARRT(R) or NMTCB, plus ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Strong ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• First-time travelers are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality MRI imaging for adult and pediatric patients from a range of units including ED, ICU, and outpatient
• Operate Siemens 1.5T magnets and conduct exams per physician orders
• Accurately document exams in EPIC EMR system
• Uphold department standards for safety, quality, and patient care
• Collaborate with team members to support departmental workflow
• Participate in department call rotation and holiday coverage as needed
