MRI Technologist - Hurricane, UT

Skilled MRI technologists are needed for an exciting opportunity performing advanced imaging services on a contract basis. This role plays a crucial part in supporting diagnostic teams by delivering high-quality MRI images and outstanding patient care.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Night shift

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT registered technologist
• Active Utah State Licensure (for administering RX, as required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Experience operating MRI scanners and related imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of safety and quality standards in the MRI environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols, ensuring clarity and accuracy
• Review and confirm physicians’ imaging orders before procedures
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images while prioritizing safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents safely when required
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedure details in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly
• Provide a reassuring, informative presence for patients throughout their experience
