Qualifications:

• Valid certification in MRI (ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
• Current state licensure as required
• 1+ year of MRI technologist experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in operation of MRI equipment, safety standards, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures following physician orders and department protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Review images for quality assurance, preparing and archiving results
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
• Adhere to all HIPAA and regulatory standards
