MRI Technologist in Interlochen, MI

Schedule/Hours

• 13-week commitment
• Five 8-hour evening shifts: 2:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday through Friday
• No weekends required
• No on-call shifts

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT(MR) credential or ARMRIT certification (with a minimum of 3 years of MRI experience)
• Proficient in MRI procedures and safe operation of MRI equipment
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient comfort and safety
• Detail-oriented and able to adapt to fast-paced clinical settings

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure safety of patients, yourself, and staff during imaging procedures, including screening for contraindications
• Work closely with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging studies in the system
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain equipment, and adhere to infection control standards
• Provide clear explanations and reassurance to patients throughout their MRI experience
