MRI Technologist in Interlochen, MI

An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to support imaging operations for a 13-week period. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety within a collaborative clinical environment.

Schedule:

• Saturday and Sunday: 6:30 am – 7:30 pm
• One additional 8-hour weekday shift (either 6 am – 2 pm or 2 pm – 10 pm)
• Total weekly hours: 32 – 34
• No call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT(MR) certification required
• Demonstrated experience operating Siemens MRI equipment
• Previous clinical MRI experience with strong understanding of imaging protocols
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans per physician orders and protocol requirements
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort
• Operate Siemens MRI systems with technical proficiency, adjusting parameters as needed for optimal imaging quality
• Accurately document patient information and scan details in electronic medical records systems
• Monitor and prioritize workflow to efficiently manage daily caseloads
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all regulatory guidelines and infection control protocols

$2,580 - $2,720/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
