An exciting opportunity awaits skilled MRI technologists with a passion for delivering high-quality imaging care. This contract role focuses on providing advanced MRI services and collaborating with a dynamic healthcare team. The workplace is equipped with cutting-edge technology and emphasizes both patient safety and professional growth.
Schedule:
- 4 shifts per week, 10-hour nights
Qualifications:
- ARRT registered technologist
- Current Utah State Licensure with authority to administer RX (required for those working in Utah)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- Experience utilizing MRI equipment and protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment, following safety guidelines and established imaging procedures
- Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to ensure accuracy and timeliness of imaging results
- Review images for quality and completeness, relaying findings as appropriate
- Maintain patient records, documenting procedures and observations accurately
- Monitor patient well-being during scans, responding swiftly to any concerns
- Adhere to privacy, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
