Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Current state licensure, if applicable
  • Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of imaging protocols and anatomical positioning
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to magnetic resonance imaging
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure patient identification and proper screening for MRI safety
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures
  • Monitor images for quality and adjust equipment settings as needed
  • Document patient information, procedure details, and complete records in electronic systems
  • Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and answer questions to minimize anxiety
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain equipment and workspace, reporting any malfunctions promptly

$2,334 - $2,576/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 35 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
