Schedule:

• Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotation including weekends and on-call duties

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required)
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography and MRI
• Current BLS certification (approved provider)
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures under the direction of a licensed medical practitioner
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns
• Operate MRI equipment, select appropriate pulse sequences, and administer contrast media
• Maintain strict adherence to magnetic resonance safety protocols
• Evaluate image quality, manipulate digital data, and archive for physician interpretation
• Assist with interventional procedures and practice aseptic techniques
• Utilize radiology information systems, maintaining thorough documentation
• Provide instruction and support to students and fellow technologists
