Schedule:
- Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week
- Rotation including weekends and on-call duties
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required)
- Registered with ARRT in Radiography and MRI
- Current BLS certification (approved provider)
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures under the direction of a licensed medical practitioner
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns
- Operate MRI equipment, select appropriate pulse sequences, and administer contrast media
- Maintain strict adherence to magnetic resonance safety protocols
- Evaluate image quality, manipulate digital data, and archive for physician interpretation
- Assist with interventional procedures and practice aseptic techniques
- Utilize radiology information systems, maintaining thorough documentation
- Provide instruction and support to students and fellow technologists
