Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
  • Valid certification in MRI (ARRT or equivalent).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience with MRI equipment and imaging protocols.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners and prepare imaging protocols as ordered by physicians.
  • Screen and position patients according to safety standards and comfort.
  • Review and verify physician’s orders prior to procedures.
  • Ensure high-quality images are produced for diagnostic review.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of exams and patient interactions.
  • Adhere to infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory policies.
  • Provide clear explanations and supportive care to patients before, during, and after imaging.
