Advance your imaging career in a progressive MRI role focused on high-quality patient care and clinical excellence. Work closely with a dedicated radiology team, utilizing cutting-edge MRI technology and the EPIC EMR system across multiple accredited outpatient sites.

Schedule and Work Hours

  • Three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours total)
  • Facility operates 7 days a week; must be available to work any day as scheduled
  • No night shifts or on-call requirements
  • Opportunity to float to nearby imaging centers as needed for coverage

Qualifications and Experience

  • ARRT MR certification required
  • For direct hire: at least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred; 5+ years required for contract positions
  • Experience assisting with breast biopsies and participating in research studies is highly desirable
  • MRSO (MR Safety Officer) certification preferred
  • Proficient in starting IVs and working independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations with attention to patient safety and image integrity
  • Independently initiate and manage IV access for contrast administration
  • Support breast biopsy procedures and collaborate in ongoing research projects
  • Maintain accurate documentation and workflow within the EPIC charting system
  • Ensure patient comfort and communicate effectively throughout imaging processes
  • Flexibly provide coverage across locations in Burlington, Greensboro, and Lake Brandt as needs arise
