Job Type Contract

Bring your MRI expertise to an advanced imaging setting and make an impact in patient care. This contract opportunity requires a highly skilled MRI Technologist with extensive experience and the ability to operate independently. You’ll be part of a dynamic environment utilizing Siemens 1.5T and 3T machines, primarily based in Greensboro with the possibility of occasional floating to two additional local sites.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
  • Flexibility to work any 3 assigned shifts, Monday through Sunday
  • 13-week initial contract
  • No night shifts
  • No on-call requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (MR) certification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ MRI experience in a clinical setting
  • Proven ability to work solo (1 technician per machine)
  • Comfortable starting IVs independently
  • Strong familiarity with Epic
  • Readiness to float between multiple locations as needed

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience assisting with breast biopsies and research studies
  • MRSO certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
  • Communicate clearly with patients and staff to facilitate care
  • Independently manage exam flow and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
  • Administer IV contrast in accordance with protocols
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
