MRI Technologist in Kernersville, NC

Step into a specialized imaging role as an MRI Technologist, bringing your expertise to a dynamic environment focused on exceptional patient care and advanced imaging technology. This assignment requires a confident professional with a solid background in MRI, who is ready to work independently and make an immediate impact.

Schedule & Structure:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
• Schedule may include any three assigned shifts, Monday through Sunday
• Minimum 13-week contract
• No night shifts
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current ARRT (MR) certification required
• Minimum 5 years of MRI experience
• Strong proficiency working as the sole technologist per machine
• Competence in starting IVs independently
• Expertise with Epic EMR system
• Experience with Siemens 1.5T and 3T machines
• Ability to float between multiple sites as needed

Preferred Experience:

• Previous assistance with breast biopsies and research studies
• MRSO certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Follow safety protocols to ensure patient care and staff safety
• Start and monitor IVs without supervision
• Work efficiently as the only technologist assigned per MRI unit
• Support breast biopsy and research procedures as needed
• Document procedures and maintain records using Epic
• Adapt to floating assignments between primary and secondary locations in the greater Greensboro area
