Schedule:
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); ARMrit certification not accepted
- Proven experience in MRI imaging within a healthcare environment
- Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and patient screening
- Ability to produce accurate, high-quality images for physician review
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images per established protocols
- Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout
- Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and relevant clinical notes in electronic medical records
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care
- Monitor imaging equipment functionality, reporting concerns promptly to ensure continuous safe operations
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards including infection control, radiation safety, and patient privacy
