MRI Technologist in Key Biscayne, FL

Step into an important role performing advanced MRI imaging, focusing on breast MRI procedures, for a leading healthcare provider. This contract assignment offers you the opportunity to contribute expertise in a dynamic, patient-centered imaging department.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4 shifts of 10 hours each per week
• Weekend rotation coverage required
• Specific schedule to be determined by the site leader

Qualifications:

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required; ARMRIT will not be accepted
• Possess a college diploma or transcripts verifying imaging education
• Demonstrated experience as an MRI technologist, particularly with breast MRI imaging
• Must not permanently reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans with a strong emphasis on breast imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver timely imaging results
• Thoroughly document procedures and patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards
• Monitor and assess imaging quality, making technical adjustments as needed
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to guarantee optimal performance
