Advance your career as an MRI technologist specializing in MRI imaging. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, perfect for those looking for a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment with a consistent schedule.
Schedule:
- 5 evening shifts per week (Monday through Friday)
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- No weekends or on-call duties
Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification
- ARRT(MR) credential required (will consider ARMRIT with at least three years of direct experience)
- Demonstrated competency in MRI imaging and familiarity with MRI safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and a focus on patient care
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and maintain attention to detail
Role Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce images that assist in clinical diagnosis and treatment
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging orders prior to exams
- Provide comfortable and safe imaging experiences for patients, including clear instructions and support throughout the procedure
- Monitor image quality and adhere to all clinical safety standards
- Accurately document procedures, maintain equipment, and report any technical issues as needed
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare staff regarding imaging results and patient care
