Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Proven experience working as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Proficiency in MRI equipment operation and safety protocols
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI physics
  • CPR certification (BLS)
  • Excellent patient care and communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary medical teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients throughout the imaging process
  • Verify patient identification and medical history prior to procedures
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide accurate diagnostic images
  • Meticulously document procedures, patient interactions, and image quality in the electronic health record system
  • Uphold all safety standards, including screening for MRI contraindications
  • Provide clear instructions and empathetic support to patients before, during, and after exams
