Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images for physician interpretation.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans with consideration for safety and comfort.
- Review and verify physicians’ orders and clinical information prior to exams.
- Maintain clear, accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory standards.
- Monitor equipment performance, complete safety checks, and report issues promptly.
- Educate patients and families on MRI procedures and address any questions or concerns.
- Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT(MR) or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience operating MRI machines in a busy clinical or hospital setting.
- Solid understanding of imaging protocols, patient safety procedures, and infection control.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient and team collaboration.
- Current BLS certification required.
