MRI Technologist in Kingston, PA

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans with consideration for safety and comfort.
• Review and verify physicians’ orders and clinical information prior to exams.
• Maintain clear, accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory standards.
• Monitor equipment performance, complete safety checks, and report issues promptly.
• Educate patients and families on MRI procedures and address any questions or concerns.
• Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT(MR) or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI machines in a busy clinical or hospital setting.
• Solid understanding of imaging protocols, patient safety procedures, and infection control.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient and team collaboration.
• Current BLS certification required.
